"Lovely hotel & the staff were very helpful as well as polite & respectful,we ate at the hotel a few times 2 evening meals & once at lunch time in the main restaurant which is very tastefully decorated again attentive staff.
The breakfast was in a different room which very large & plenty of tables spaced out so noone was sitting on top of you & the view was overlooking the pool area again a big plus as at the back of the hotel & secluded all in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay"

"The pool has literal lumps of black dirt on the tiles, it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. The jacuzzi is the same temperature as the pool and also dirty. No shower facilities after the “swim”
Run down hotel, breakfast staff were just there, never said good morning, no interaction from any staff actually. Won’t be staying there again. "

"Staff were perfect. Location could not have been better. Room was as expected - maybe a little tired but housekeeping was to a high standard. Food was ordinary IMO, nothing to complain about but a little disappointing as they do boast about their buffet breakfasts and international evening offerings.
Overall a good experience in a hotel with a fascinating history and charm."

"The staff in this hotel are amazing , they couldn't do enough for us . Rooms were immaculate , beds really comfortable. The breakfast was amazing a full buffet breakfast both English and continental as well as daily specials. The only downside I would say are there are parts of the hotel which are looking a bit worn , and could do with an update . Other than that I would highly recommend."

"Hotel was immaculately clean, staff were super friendly, delicious breakfast and a good choice of evening meals. Lovely gardens, with a brilliant swimming pool and hot tub.
Films and entertainment in the evenings. Although out of town, the courtesy bus and public buses were close and frequent. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel."
