"It is a magical and unique place, of course this is not for everyone, it is a place that transports you to 60 and I loved that, I would appreciate a little more maintenance but that does not steal the magic and speaking of magic when we arrived at 10 pm we were a little scared around, but when we entered everything changed and we spent two incredible nights we enjoyed nature and the natural air, the birds and all that the lake super delicious, anyway I liked it"

"The old Lackawanna Train Station is incredible. Service and food at bar was very good. Sign inn counter staff could have been more enthusiastic, but maybe the huge crowd on Monday and Tuesday had worn them out!"

"We were in what was considered a suite. The sofa bed when opened left no room between in and the king bed therefore in an emergency situation there was no exit space without climbing over the bed. Also the mattress on the sofa bed was awful. Things seemed clean but there were items like the hinges on the door in the bathroom that looked dirty because it was rusted. The staff was excellent to work with. WiFi was okay but when you tried to get on it stated that it was only available to Marriot...

"Or room was not clean. The bed sheets were turned inside out and the mattress pad had a bodily fluid stain. The breakfast was not edible nor was the coffee or water. Eat at McDonalds or Waffle House down the street. We paid $266 a night. Ridiculous!"

"Close to I-81 Exit with grocery store across the street. Plenty of parking and Great Bar! Cheap Uber Ride to CC Scranton & Steamtown. The Staff was Great - we enjoyed our stay & will Be back!"

"I bought 3 rooms and I paid $264 per room for one night. I thought since it was a Wyndham it should be pretty nice. The bathrooms in all three rooms were dirty. One bathroom actually had hair trimmings on the countertop and the floor was a puddle of water. Maybe cleaned in a rush. It seemed like they may have recently been renovated rooms so that was good. The building was in poor condition. The pool looked nice but the caretaker of it put chemicals in it after it was opened for the morning so...

"Staff was helpful and kind. Hotel is beaultiful and the courtyard is a lovely place to sit and relax/mingle. Rooms are clean and beds are super comfy. Water pressure and tempt in the shower leave you wanting more, towels are really thin and they barely give you enough for one person so be sure to ask for extra. There are no phones in the rooms so if you need anything you have to go downstairs. The vending machines were not working during our stay and the market in the lobby was not fully stocked...
