It was our frst time visiting the Maldives and Baros lived up to everything we wished for. Being only 25 minutes by speed boat from the airport we wondered about aircraft noise but only seen 2 planes in 5 days and heard no noise. The staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for you. We will definately go back again to Baros Island.

Fully lives up to other reviews. Not cheap but delivers on almost every level from location, to staff, food/wine to facilities. I all starts and finishes at the Constance lounge at Male airport and is very well organised. You'll love it

We chose a beach villa over an overwater villa for its seclusion among lush palm trees and private sunbeds. The villa was elegantly furnished, exuding charm, and was impeccably clean. Great place to stay, the staff are nice, good breakfast, they were able to do us an early breakfast before our dives. Shariq was able to sort out our delayed baggage from male which was a life saver!

The review that persuaded me to book this hotel was the one which said something like 'I'm not a beach person but I loved this hotel'. Beautiful, peaceful, discreet, the attention to detail. L'occitane bathroom products, very comfortable bed, a shower and bathroom open to the warm air, delicious food in the restaurant (evening buffet concentrated on quality rather than quantity but there were still many choices). A most restful 3 days, one of the best hotels in 35 years of travelling.

The property is fantastic, from its glorious natural setting, beautiful white sand beach, beautifully clear ocean, to the tropical landscape palms trees and bushes, the layout and privacy of the beach villas and to the extremely friendly welcoming staff , personal service, restaurant and overall team, who provided excellent service and enjoyable chat with a pleasing smile, and the great restaurants and food. Zaleeq was an AMAZING Island host! From the minute we arrived to the minute we left he did the upmost best to look after us. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be our island host during our stay. The lagoon is amazing and great for swimming and Snorkelling. The property is very clean and well looked after. Excellent at catering for people with allergies. Good choice of drinks in all inclusive package..

We absolutely loved the resort. First is the location, it is only about 10 minutes from the airport. We were so happy as we got a free transfer to/from airport because island transfers can be expensive. Second the views from all parts of the property are just stunning. Third the food!
