"Stayed only one night as we were passing through on our way to the UP. The hotel was nice and clean, and everyone was friendly. The breakfast was good with many options. The gym is very small with a few treadmills, pully machine, and a few free dumbbells. Ok for a quick workout. I would stay here again when in the area"

We loved the history of the resort and the fact that there were so many amenities.....the hot tub, pool, restaurant, lounge, library, ice cream parlor, and activity room. The staff were wonderful. "Just a quick overnight stop. Very dated facility, but room was clean, the AC worked. Zero amenities other than coffee in the room."

"When i got there, at first glance, the room looked and smelled really good until i got to the bathroom. The toilet and shower were not cleaned from the last people who stayed because there was poop stains in the toilet and hair in the shower drain and a dried up soap bar on the ledge of the shower. The garbage had used Q tips and kleenex left in it. It was gross."
