"This is an excellent place to stay on your way to Yosemite National Park. One reason for this is the distance to the Yosemite entrance gate, but the other reason is the YARTS shuttle picks up right in front of the hotel. The room was comfortable and had a cool electric fire with rocks on the wall. It has several swimming oools and hot tubs. The jets were not functioning very well in one of the hot tubs... but the pool environment is very well maintained. Hotel guests can access free wi-fi. Note...

"Nice heated pool. The food was excellent at the restaurant and the lodge store had a big selection of food, drinks, and souvenirs. The balconies are a great place to relax. FYI, the lodge is 2.5 hours from the west and south entrances to Yosemite. The road is slow and curvy through the mountains. "

"It had everything you would expect from a 1 star motel. We had to travel to another location for check in (it was not communicated beforehand). The room was very dirty, stains everywhere. Toilet didn't flush properly. The room had a terrible smell. The air conditioning was very loud, probably technology of 50 years ago. The sheets and towels were very old. One of the towels was so old that it was ripped. The location was decent. 30 minutes drive from Yosemite Valley. So, if you want to pay 300+...
