"Resort is a steep 400m up a hill to reception and a further distance uphill to some of the villas. We were lucky to stay in Studio 2. Our room was beautiful and not many steps to the restaurant or pool. Staff were very nice and accommodating and have a free shuttle into and from town. If you don’t have general fitness I recommend you contact the resort when booking accommodation."

The hotel appears old from the outside but the rooms appeared renovated and provided all the necessary amenities ie good WiFi, working AC, safe, refrigerator and fast working showers. We ate breakfasts each morning and dinner twice. Food was excellent either way both Filipino and western offerings. Happy hour is celebrated daily. The pool was great. "Visited Mansion Buenavista as a party of 7 from Canada. Everything was actually excellent. Noud (owner) and and his staff make you feel like welcomed guests. Food was delicious and could be pre-ordered, rooms had everything you need, filtered drinking water was readily available, booking the El Nido tours was easy, and transportation to Nacpan Beach was smooth. My group actually took a picture with Noud before leaving. That's how good Mansion Buenavista was. I highly recommend this place."
