Cari Hotel di Minden

"Great little spot, hidden off Route 20. Staff was very accommodating and supportive but I had issues with the WiFi, the size of the shower and unpredictability of hot water, and the fact that the bathroom window is directly across from the shower. Normally, the final point wouldn’t be an issue but the blinds didn’t go all the way down so I felt a bit exposed. I stayed in Room 3. I did not eat at the restaurant but their menu was extensive and they were willing to work with my dietary...

"Great, quiet place to stay. It’s clean and the staff was friendly. Not a lot of amenities but we would absolutely stay here again."

"We were very happy with our stay. The view was beautiful overlooking the lake. The room was nice and clean, perfect for our stay. Friendly staff. We don’t have to ask for anything which was great. Would have preferred a better coffee pot than what was available. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience. Would stay again!"

"Awesome, lakeside lodging."

"Being called the Baseball Hotel would make one think there would be something related to baseball on the premiiiNothing. The outside was a mess incuding the cheap sign they tacked up outside. Not a sioulsis roun"

"Place had a Million Dollar renovation and they actually did a good Job for a Rodeway Inn. There are No Amenities at all, no pool, no breakfast, no bar no nothing! Just front desk guy and housekeeping every 3rd day! Homeless and panhandles in parking lot, across the street and by back dumpster. Don’t go out to smoke they will approach u! New McDonalds next door and 2 cool bars up the hill, walkable but be cautious local homeless lives on Main Street bench don’t make eye contact."

"Price quoted was not the price owner tried to charged. Coffeemaker provided with no coffee or filters, no cups. Towels were forgotten to be put in room. Heat, clock, and fridge were unplugged. Was questioned as to why I turned the heat on in the room. Advertises breakfast/ snack Cafe on premises not operational. No restaurants or stores nearby. Room was clean and spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable and clean."

"Nice clean and comfortable room. The Beekman toiletries were a nice touch. The only issue is the electrical outlet in the bathroom was too far away from the mirror over the sink. This was the only mirror in the room so I couldn’t use hair dryer or curling iron. The room use another mirror somewhere near an electrical outlet. As a side note, the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all anyway."

"Property was very clean and amenities were nice like the mini frig and the micro wave party was spacious ..lake view was nice also"

"Management was very helpful. Our car broke down and the staff kept the car in their lot for a few days while we dealt with tow services and insurance."

"Austin was an amazing host with great dining recommendations in the area, including Cooperstown and the surrounding smaller towns, which were surprisingly good. Breakfast included lots of cereal, fruit, yogurt and other cold options, but the highlight was Austin's awesome waffles, his specialty. His real specialty is his getting to know guest's names, home towns, etc. and his friendly manner that encouraged lots of conversation at breakfast. The rooms met my wife's high standard for...

"This bed and breakfast is one of the cleanest, most charming and comfortable places my husband and I have ever stayed in! The host Mike is amazing! He called us the morning of to take our breakfast order and to walk is through the check-in process (which is very easy) and even gave us recommendations for dinner. Definitely try PK’s pub if you like a good home cooked meal. We would hands down recommend this to everyone and would love to stay here again!"

"The hosts were extremely congenial. The property is gorgeous and the breakfast was ample. Highly recommend!!!"

"I loved the antique touches with the cabin americana feel. Charming place. Would definitely choose this place to stay another time. Would recommend to others. Very tidy. Loved it. Price was fair also."
