"This budget property was great! Easy check in and check out via website then text. Very clean rooms. Property was well maintained. Pool was awesome to play around with the kiddo in but bring towels from the room or your own. Vending machine for drinks is right with it. There is a Dennys and a gas station (convenience store) in front of the hotel. Office staff were always responsive and helpful via chat, making it extremely easy. Room has a shower/tub. Large closet and lots of drawer...

"We always stay at Stargazer when we come down to Monterey. Clean room, quiet, close to the wharf, always friendly staff. Plus the hot tub. "

"The front desk staff member was so helpful nd friendly. The room was clean. The tv had great reception and picture so watching the Olympics at night was really fun. It is a 2-star accommodation, so while it is not a 5-star resort, the staff clearly take pride in this inn and keep it very clean. A perfect location—easy to get downtown, hop on PCH 1, or go to Whole Foods two minutes up the street. A quiet, calm, clean stay!"

"We had a lovely weekend here! The room itself was clean and quiet and the staff were very accommodating! We stayed in the family suite which included a fully stocked kitchen with dishes and utensils, which was ideal for our large group."
