"The exterior and location of property is fine, but the rooms need improvements, The mattress was springy, and pillows were flat. Our TVs lighting was dark, and when adjusted would revert back to dark. The shower towels were small and thin. This is my third time staying over the years, and will be my last."

"Very convenient location as the property was easy walking distance to all shops restaurants and the beach in downtown Carmel. Could be a little noisy with the older building with hearing the water flow in the plumbing from adjacent rooms."

This is our go to place to stay and will definitely return next year. The new management were very nice and friendly (unlike the previous). It is a pet friendly property, so is an extra value (albeit we didn’t bring our dog). Highly recommend."

"The valet parking was very slow and inconvenient. The "ocean View with Balcony" was a joke. The "Juliet" balcony was unusable and the view was only partial ocean view- not what I asked for or expected.....The room service for breakfast was excellent and the hotel Restaurant "C" was outstanding......"
