"Super clean resort with gorgeous ocean and pool view rooms. The resort needs to hire an activity staff team to coordinate things to do during the stay."

"The room we got was not as advertised. 14 minutes away from the beach. No elevator, no ice nearby, no laundry, no housekeeping. Carpet in the room and not well decorated. our view was of an AC unit. Plenty of Roaches waiting for us every night outside our door. Last year, we booked the exact same stay as this year through Expedia and it was a night and day experience."

Dislike people being allowed to smoke right outside their room, which is also, right outside their neighbor's room, too. Almost always had to pass through smoking entering or leaving room. Consequently, Will not stay there again."

"I really enjoyed this stay a great deal and would stay there again given the opportunity. The hotel is 169 years old, is a historic landmark, and history seems to come alive in the place. Due I think to the holiday weekend, the staff were difficult to get on the phone for questions; but they were very helpful and friendly when I finally got them. Location was excellent, with easy walking access to many downtown restaurants and shops. Due to its closeness to bars, there was the sound of music...

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Love the schoolhouse vibe. The staff were welcoming and friendly. One suggestion would be to install towel hanging hooks or rings on the framing wall outside the shower. The shelf above the toilet is a risky spot for towels. The hooks on the door is just enough to hang robes or clothings."
