"A pretty good location, modern and clean. I thought the staff were very friendly, polite and keen to help. A good sized bedroom and modern bathroom with walk in shower. Ours overlooked the canal. Toiletries are happily handed out on request at reception but all towels were changed daily even if left hung up. The breakfasts were fresh and plenty of choices. Great freshly squeezed orange juice was a tasty extra included. "

"A good, if worn , over 100 year old former shipping office. Great breakfast buffet. Worn looking comfortable rooms. Beware- if your room, as ours, faces the sun a good part of the day, it will get insufferably hot. There is NO a/c! Great mattress. Really great location on the edge of old Amsterdam. Easy walking distance to all the old town sites! "

"We stayed three nights and though rooms are small we expected that Loved our view of the canal from our room The reception people were so friendly & helpful Sorry we didn’t get their names but especially the Spanish lad and the Asian girl were super helpful and lovely Would totally recommend Hotel CC it was very central to trains tours and walking about and a laundromat "

"I stayed in the female dorm which had its own bathroom, so was very safe and secure. The bunk bed was comfortable and had a lockable drawer for keeping valuables, (was a little squeaky for leaving early in the mornings though). There are a few stairs to get in and up to rooms, so good if you are carrying light luggage or if you dont mind there are no lifts."

"I loved the quirky and irreverent decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit small. My wife and I are not large people, and we were always tripping over each other trying to get to the bed or to the door."

"The hotel was in a nice location not far from dam square. The room wasnt very clean which was a shame as the amount of money you pay you think thry could clean better. Some staff look miserable to be there which dosent give off great vibes. But didnt effect our holiday reccomend the park near by "

"My main goal was to visit the museums. They are very close tonthe hotel. The city center and canals are about a 35 minute walk away. I enjoy walking, so I enjoyed walking and exploring the city. My room was very small but confortable."

"I stayed at the CitizenM Amstel property in June 2025 for 2 nights. The room was larger than other hotel rooms I’ve experienced in Amsterdam. The air conditioner worked tremendously well which I find rare for Europe. The room was VERY clean (I’m very picky about cleanliness) and VERY quiet (I had a room overlooking the garden). The location isn’t super walkable to many of the tourist attractions, but it is next to the bus / metro which allows for easy transport between neighborhoods. The lobby...
