"Sofitel was amazing the minute we walked in. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We got there hours before check in, and were told they would check and see if our room was ready early, IT WAS!! We got tp check in early and got the best suite they had. We felt like royalty. The only thing that would have made my stay even better, would be to have a microwave and bigger fridge in the room. Other than that our whole stay was AMAZING and we will be back. "

"The location of The Michelangelo is perfect for theatre goers, dining, & Central Park. No doubt about it. The staff was very pleasant, especially the doormen. The property itself has seen better days. Our room was a bit shabby. The carpet was old with visible stains, the bathroom sink had a large crack, and the painted surfaces were chipped with poor repairs. Just too dated & worn for the price. "

"Amazing staff and attention to detail. Perfect location for a staycation. My dog’s leash broke and Catherine, one of the housekeepers noticed and had a leash ordered from the local Target for us! Talk about going above and beyond! I have never experienced that level of thoughtfulness from hotel staff. That kind gesture alone will make me return. Thank you for a great experience all around.
