"We reserved with La Mere Poulard but our room was actually at the Ermitage Hotel which was wonderful. Lots of steps both to get to the hotel and to get to our floor inside the hotel (no elevator in hotel) which we didn’t mind but could be an issue for some. "

"Perfect location at the island entrance. Close to the ramparts entrances including a 2nd floor exit at the back of the hotel directly onto the ramparts. Staff were very helpful and accommodating especially in handling our luggage before checkin and holding it after checkout until we departed. A quiet hotel and nice ambiance!"

"Super good location 30 mins walk from Mont Saint Michel. Room was large and very clean, and front desk staff was very helpful. A couple of observations: 1) we couldn’t adjust the heat, so asked the front desk about it and they said they (the front desk) would adjust it and asked what temperature we wanted. They made the heat work for us and that temp stayed the same for the duration of our 2-day stay. 2) A kettle and 2 tea bags along with two paper cups were in the room. My husband and I drank...

"Had to do kind of an emergency booking with this hotel as another place to stay fell through. The place is very nice, extremely spacious by European standards and in a great location in the center of Bayeux. "

"Location is perfect. Room is small, especially the bathroom. Service is bad at the restaurant, we have to wait 25-30minutes for the tea/coffee during breakfast. On the second day we ended up finishing our quick breakfast without having the tea/coffee as we are leaving/checking out soon."

"The lobby, bar, restaurant areas are bright, clean, and welcoming. The guest rooms are also clean and nice but with very minimum furniture. The hallways were under construction, and you walked through covered carpets and sheet rock to get to your room. The air conditioning did not work. You had to open the window to get cool air. When we complained, first they said this was because of the construction, then changed the story and said the air conditioners were off because it was not the season...

"Super small toilet where you can hardly sit. The host is not very nice and comes over as if he has an attitude problem. Breakfast is served only from 9 am until 9.45 am. That's a bad joke. "
