"Loved the fact we were inside the walls and it was very nice after dinner to go for a walk without the crowds. Breakfast was also good. But the internet wasn’t working properly, on and off, the beds were super small even for European standards and the room was stuffy, no air circulation at all and consequently didn’t sleep well."

"Basic but clean and cosy. Would have preferred porcelain cups for my hot drink... paper cups made it rather challenging. Bit of a hassle getting out of the gated area in the morning, a long line of cars and campervans all held up because of issues with the exit console that seemed to plague everybody. My third attempt finally succeeded. Breakfast was great food. Friendly and helpful staff."

"Habe mit Parkplatz gebucht,durfte auf der Straße parken trotz Tiefgarage. Dusche war na ja aber wie beschrieben im Raum-keine Handtücher wäre das mindeste gewesen. Gepäck wurde mir gesagt was wichtig/wertvoll ist wird in einem separaten Raum gelagert. Bin eventuell etwas verwöhnt….."

The front desk sent someone up but they said we just needed to jiggle and flush multiple times. After their bogus answer I looked and there were two issues both looked to be caused from hard water. "Location is perfect. Room is small, especially the bathroom. Service is bad at the restaurant, we have to wait 25-30minutes for the tea/coffee during breakfast. On the second day we ended up finishing our quick breakfast without having the tea/coffee as we are leaving/checking out soon."

"The hotel was renovated but maintained its French charm. The location was excellent, less than 0.5 miles from the downtown. The room was very large and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and kind. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers to Bayeux."

The main negative was our room- under the eaves with a very roundabout way to get there: two elevators, two sets of stairs and we are in our late 70's. It was cumbersome and tiring to get there.
