What would be called the 'norm' at Van Der Valk hotels could be easily regarded as luxury in the UK except at realistic, affordable and value for money prices. This property feels a flagship."

A couple things I did not like: I left the do not disturb sign all days I was there and 2 of the days housekeeping still went in the room. One of those times we were just waking up. "A lovely property with friendly personnel. This hotel is not a shiny large 5-star property and does not pretend to be one. Really friendly personnel with clean rooms, decent showers and clean bathrooms, with a great restaurant. The management have clearly made sure the right people with the right attitude are looking after guests."
