" Breakfast had a good variety and staff were quick and polite. The Bar staff didn’t seem to know which bar we could get what drink from and were quite slow in serving. Reception staff were efficient and very pleasant "

"Mixed reviews overall, my room was generally pretty clean however, I found a hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn't mine as it was about 6 inches long onnthe tiles of the shower, the window didnt stay open without wedging something underneath it, decor was tired and the TV was no bigger than a PC monitor and looked lost on the wall and wasnt vaguely visible from the bed and everytime the fridge in the room clicked on and off it turned the TV off and on again (annoying to say the least). "Staff were lovely and breakfast was well cooked. Surprised it was a buffet breakfast. We had a really good rate so absolutely no complaints. It was starting to look a little tired, with build up in the corners of the bathroom around the shower, and chips in the walls and paintwork of our room. The view on the top floor is lovely and made for a nice touch to visiting family where I’d originally grown up."

"We had a wonderful stay at Fawsley Hall. The interior stunningly reflects the Halls history and the rooms were spacious and peaceful. We dined in the restaurant which was relaxing and delicious. The following morning we had breakfast in bed which was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel stay. What stood out the most was the staff. They were impeccable & highly professional. "Clean and tidy room, good breakfast, not crowded when we stayed (April 8). Overall very good service. However at 10:38 someone started knocking the door of my room. It was cleaning staff. They opened it despite me being in the room with 2 keys from it. I told that I’m planning to stay until 11 AM which is my check-out time. It repeated second time in 5 minutes. Another lady knocked and opened the room. They did it to other rooms on the floor as I’ve heard them doing it. I was taking shower, so...

"Had a lovely overnight stay. Staff were really friendly and exceptionally helpful. A really beautiful old building. Buffet breakfast was good. Had a very pleasant evening meal there too. Grounds were delightful. Stayed in one of their suites. Really spacious. "

"We got moved room at midnight, and had to move all of our belongings because the power in our room wasn't working, which was an issue the desk knew about when they gave us the room. Then, when I attempted to get a refund on the room for the night, we were offered free breakfast, but the lady on the desk was desperate to haggle down the number of days we got it for. Just felt very cheap and really made us not enjoy the stay."
