"nice hotel , but the grounds are rundown ..most of staff are helpful..not much to do other than the rock and outback...and EVERYTHING costs money, be prepared to pay...flies , flies and more flied that will be my memory of my stay"

"The national park was a 10 minute drive away. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great with an excellent choice. There were good free experiences to get to know about the history of Uluru. "

"The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. This hopefully will update rooms, facilities and overall presentation that at the moment it is lacking. The staff were respectful, kind and helpful, but they are dealing with not only the current disruption, but also guests reactions and issues. I would visit again once the current renovations has been completed. "

"I got to Darwin after quite a roundabout trip, so I was really needing somewhere friendly and nice to stay. The Leea was close to the city and although going though massive renovations, provided a very welcoming and pleasant experience. The bed was good, the facilities very good and the view from the room especially at night was lovely."

"Great room with large kitchen including laundry, living room and dining area, plus 2 bedrooms. Our room had a HUGE balcony off of it with dining table. So nice. The rooftop restaurant/bar was awesome! We had some drinks and enjoyed complimenting snacks and the kids loved the massage chairs. Special spot. The pool was awesome! "

"I had a pleasant stay at Oaks Elan. The location is very convenient, within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and places of interest. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious, with a good-sized lounge area. The kitchen was well equipped, which made the stay even more convenient. I also enjoyed the balcony with views of the city/harbour. "Lovely property, but without a car we were trapped. It’s away from the town center with no public transport after 6PM. The desk staff didn’t recommend a taxi and there are no Ubers. The restaurant in the hotel was expensive, in my opinion. Breakfast was $38 per person. Fortunately, the public bus stop is just outside and is free transportation to town beginning at 7:45AM, but ends at 6:00 PM. It’s about a 20-25 minute walk into town. "

"This is really a camp site with rooms. Shared toilets 100 m away. Shared kitchen. Rooms have just beds like a dorm or youth hostel style. Not explained properly. Will not meet the Standards of US travelers"
