"My problem is probably mostly with Expedia. I didn't tick the box saying that I wanted a pet-friendly hotel, but the staff informed me after arrival that all their rooms were of that nature, and they didn't respond to a request via the Expedia website for a pet-free room prior to my setting off. It was clear efforts were made to minimise the effect of their policy on cleanliness but nevertheless it wasn't what I'd have chosen, if clearly informed."

"I love this hotel but on this occasion I have been left very disappointed with the facilities as a resident at !0 30 pm I would expect to be able to enjoy a drink in the bar before going to bed but at 10 25 when I got to the bar it was closed not only my self but five fellow residents were also gutted that bar was closed thankfully the Comet a few doors away was still open for our patronage. "It looked on the surface a lovely hotel. Sadly when up close, the rooms were not finished off properly, seals around doors, bathroom, floor, pieces of wood instead of door stops. Bulding rubble in the decked beer garden. The good bones are there but needs finished properly and cleaned regularly, a lot of dust. Need more staff. It could be lovely with a bit if TLC"
