"The first day the front desk attendant charged me $45 he said I did not have a reservation. I had to talk to someone else and I though I got my money back, it was a bad first impression. AC was not working properly, the small fridge was not working right and it tool a couple of days to get it replaced. They had a toaster connected to an electrical extension and the breaker will not stay on. I got ill and needed to come back before.

"Our stay at Playa Tortuga was unfortunately very disappointing. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that the property is poorly maintained. The overall cleanliness of the place was lacking, especially in the rooms and bathrooms. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition—there was no shower head, visible stains on the walls and fixtures, and we even encountered roaches, which was extremely unpleasant and concerning.

"The bed was comfortable and the Air conditioning was cold. Architecture was strange..,lots of concrete which did nothing to soften the noise coming from the Nightclub overhead, until about 3 am. I had booked an inside room which I had heard could be quieter but was “upgraded” to a balcony room. The balcony is a shared balcony between all rooms on the second floor on that side.
