"Staff were amazing here! We were totally stressed out after driving from the airport in rush hour traffic. I was almost in tears and the valet parking gentleman was super kind. Then the front desk was fantastic offering us an upgrade to a higher floor. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service and quality of food were incredible! We were only there for a 17 hour layover but would definitely stay here again."

"Our stay at Playa Tortuga was unfortunately very disappointing. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that the property is poorly maintained. The overall cleanliness of the place was lacking, especially in the rooms and bathrooms. The bathroom was in unacceptable condition—there was no shower head, visible stains on the walls and fixtures, and we even encountered roaches, which was extremely unpleasant and concerning.

"This property is fantastic. It’s beautiful, relaxing and the staff is wonderful. I enjoyed the restaurants and deli. The pedicure was nice, very basic. The pools and beach were amazing. Beautiful black sand beach. I will definitely return."
