We recently stayed for 2 nights with family (4 adults in total) on a short trip to Ipoh from KL and can honestly say that the Bedrock exceeded all expectations. This is a new, luxury boutique hotel and the owners, Choeng and his wife, have created a beautiful and unique place with exceptional service. Everything was clean throighoit the whole hotel. Premium quality finish on Premier room. Pool/bar area was a nice place to chill with a good city view. Gym was good, could just do with with a few more weight machines in my opinion. All staff very friendly 😃

Wonderful house, excellent service, good food (if anything, the portions were too generous). The gardens are the highlight, flower borders, etc - much nicer version of England compared to the original. Development encroaching in the valley, but there isn’t much the hotel can do about that I suppose.

Stayed in the Spa Villas which are situated over the sea. Had use of the swimming pool in the Spa Village which was less used than the main pool so always felt like we had the pool to ourselves. Often felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves because it was so spread out. Would recommend for a relaxing stay. There is not a lot to do. Restaurants are very expensive but food quality in Uncle Lim's was very good. A lot of staff everywhere to look after us. Spa treatments also very expensive...

Very good business hotel and lovely staff

I've been staying here for years and it's always been a great hotel situated in a very convenient part of town.

We tried the signature picnic experience the hotel offered and so glad we did! It included a VIP tour of the local tea plantation and factory including a tasting session and then a private picnic with a personal butler amongst the tea overlooking the plantation. We can not recommend this enough and it is worth the money!!

The hotel was well kept and comfortable, and the rooms are a very good size. Staff are attentive and friendly and staying here was a pleasant experience.

Excellent and quirky hotel , would stay there again

Wonderful stay at the Light Hotel. We enjoyed using the pool and the gym. The staff were very attentive. The location was close to other places to eat - we would recommend Jom Banana Leaf directly opposite the hotel. Exceptional breakfast too! We will definitely return.
