Nice family hotel well located for Ipoh centre

A good choice for our first night stop over in Ipoh. Friendly service, large rooms, good breakfast. The hotel has a little bit of wear and tear once you get past reception but everything works and it felt safe.

A simple basic non fuss hotel for short stay.

Good location. Have covered on site parking. Get your cashless payment eg Touch nGo validated. Guest rooms start from 8th floor upto 19th floor. Had the room facing Kinta river and mountains views and towards East of Ipoh city buildings landscape. Room without luggage rack. Ironing board( but had a burnt ironing cloth) and non steam iron provided. Simple non branded amenities . Simple slip on slippers of cloth and PU soles provided. Adequate power points for charging devices- UK power points sockets. Bed was on hard firm side with two comfy soft pillows. Simple one duvet provided with simple bedding sheets. A single seater sofa provided. Two bedside tables with adequate drawers(2) space. A dressing table . Simple tea/coffee facility with a fridge. Secured security card access for lift and guest room. Well lighted corridors to rooms and lifts( 4 lift shafts). Buffet breakfast mainly of local fare/cuisine came with the room; otherwise 30% discount on this breakfast if taken individually. At time of review, price for buffet breakfast is RM65/-. A non air conditioned courtyard annexed to air conditioned coffee house provides a nostalgic glance into olde days of Ipoh with rustic vintage items. This area during buffet breakfast serves local fare such as charcoal roasted bread, village coffee, nasi lemak , roti canai etc.

My wife and I made the right choice staying at this hotel. There was a morning bazaar and it was walking distance from hotel. Located at town, so many options of good cafes and restaurants. I love the surroundings, not too hectic and quiet. It was a peace of mind.
