"Rooms wren clean and reasonably comfortable. The early check-in was appreciated. The hotel is located close to many eateries (including a number of chain restaurants) but is otherwise not within easy walking distance of most points of interest. On one night during my stay, it was very noisy in the hotel – repeated crashing sounds from the floor above, children playing soccer in the hallways, pranksters knocking on hotel doors and then running away."

"The moment we walked in after 1:30 AM, and two delayed flights we were treated with excellence. We let the desk know our bag would be delivered the next day. Since we were there for the Ducks graduation ceremony we wouldn't be there for delivery. The desk made sure to put it in our room. The room was great, the bed was awesome, even the water pressure was awesome. Just had a very pleasant stay. Our new home away from home in Salem. Staff was helpful in every way. "As you know, this is NOT a Marriott. It is very inexpensive and my 4 of 5 star review reflects that. My room was clean, as were the towels, sheets and other bedding. All of the plumbing worked well.
