"The location was excellent. We had booked a room with a city view but all we saw was an alley. Staff were very nice and we had our laundry done for 30 euros! The breakfast was good but if you wanted eggs etc it was an extra fee which was not obvious. Area was noisy at night. Overal a nice stay in Porto. "

"This is an exceptional review. We were at the hotel the same night that there was a country-wide total blackout in Portugal. The hotel by no fault of theirs had no electricity, their generators ran out of gas, no A/C, no food, other than the mini bar. Guest manager Sophia walked us to the 13th floor, using her phone as a light. God only knows how many times she did this with other guests. She was lovely. We ended up leaving early in the morning to finally catch a flight. By then the electricity...
