"Beautiful clean room , for an old building the creaky , slopping floors were as expected. Very well stocked breakfast but I wasn’t sure where we were supposed to eat it so we went back to our room so perhaps trays should be provided? My only problem was the wedding / house side , I think it confusing. Even though the staff were very friendly, I felt in the way the next day after check out as the bridal party were setting up for their wedding. Perhaps an area could be set up for non wedding...

"Kept waiting outside the property ,taken up to room had to ask for the room key.Given the outside door code verbally ,why not give it on a card ?? Lousy area ,wouldnt stop there again."

"Overall, we found the hotel to be of reasonably high standard. The room was good, although missing a few refreshments at times, and the shower was held up by an elastic hair band! The signage throughout could do with improvement, as the breakfast room/restaurant is difficult to find if you have not stayed there before. The entrance seems to have a permanent "CAR PARK FULL" sign at the entrance, presumably to deter non-residents, and the exit barrier needs a code, but always seems to be open...

"Comfortable king room, which we were able to access early & meant we could change to go to the afternoon theatre. Service from reception & bar very good. This is a nice hotel very conveniently located in Stratford for easy walking to the theatre and town centre. Would definitely stay again. "

"The room we stayed in was far too hot. Even though we had the window open, the temperature control set to 16°C and the fan on, it was very uncomfortable. We found it difficult to sleep. We also spent as short a time as possible in our room. We were disappointed with the food available. The website advertised a Market Menu, which wasn't available. Just the expensive menu in the restaurant to choose from. However the breakfast staff we very courteous and the choice of food was excellent."
