"Front desk lady gave us the key to the room. It wasn’t cleaned so went back she gave us another one. Whole place was overgrown grass trash all on the grounds. The screens were off the windows old and run down inside. We went ahead and stayed but was ready to get out of there. No a/c don’t really need it but fan provided didn’t work and smoke detector was gone off the ceiling. Poor management at a place with potential. Expedia needs to cancel this place off their site so others don’t make mistake...

"Clean, spacious, relaxing vibe. Patio was beautiful, spent evenings with family out there. No trash cans on site other than small room trash cans, so you will need to bring bags and discard offsite. Enjoyed the stay though."

"Wonderful stay however all the coffee in the room was decaf when we tried to call the front desk the phone didn’t work in the room. Very frustrating for coffee drinkers. It’s not that difficult to have regular coffee, and sugar besides the old school gross sweet n low that no one uses anymore. The food was excellent. Just fix your phones and your coffee."

"We loved our stay at Casa Escondida. From beginning to end, the communication was excellent. Our food preferences were asked for, and our instructions for getting there were clearly defined. The breakfast was superb both days, and our chef shared local information and what we might like to see for that day. All the staff were so nice, and the people staying there at the same time as us were equally lovely."

"Our cabin had a upstairs bed and my daughter found a half eaten cookie in the bed. Makes us wonder if the sheets were changed upstairs. Other than that it was great, staff was great as well."

"This place was awful the first room they tried putting us in was full of beer bottles and trash the beds weren’t made. So they switched us to another room the toilet hadn’t been flushed the door didn’t shut all the way. There was a used wash cloth on the sink. The parking lot had used needles in it. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!"

"This is a fabulous little suite surrounded by trees in a pretty garden frequented by the local bird life and is located in a quiet neighbourhood with easy highway access to the tourist areas. There's also a hot tub and BBQ. The proprietors are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The rooms are spotless. They provide everything, and more, that the average traveller would need. "
