"The staff was always helpful and willing to go above and beyond. The Dive Bar not only has great food, but offers a wonderful view of the St Clair River for fun freighter watching.
They did a wonderful job renovating this hotel while keeping a charming historic feel. I'll be back."

"The room was clean but needed some TLC. (Paint on doors chipped, missing cover on access to hot & cold water, two front door locks etc) Lots of stairs to get to your room. My sister doesn't get around easy so called to check if there was an elevator and was told yes to two of the three floors, got there and no elevator but a choice of stairs or walking up a long ramp to your room. Breakfast was nonexistant. Packaged muffins, packaged cinnabun, coffee all served in the office with one table"
