"Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. Two days prior to arrival, I was sent an email form w/ one of the questions asking when we'd be arriving. I selected the noon-2pm...

"We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."

"Nixson and his mother are lovely. He took time to make sure I was comfortable, and kindly shared his knowledge of the plants in his garden with me Fridge, hot shower, comfy bed, nearby shops, atm, restaurants Some mozzies but there are nets so I slept great I went to Batibou beach nearby, about a 1hr walk, or 10 min drive. "Die Zimmer im Hotel sind einfach, wer Luxus braucht, wird das hier nicht finden. Ich brauchte den Luxus nicht, ich wollte mich entspannen und habe es wirklich genossen. Der Pool ist großartig, es ist wahnsinnig ruhig in der Anlage, sogar die Straßenbauarbeiten derzeit waren erträglich. Die deutsch-schweizerische Hotel —Leitung ist großartig, extrem hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Man versucht dem Gast immer zu 100 % alles zu geben.
