"Couldn’t have asked for a better place to start our Dominica adventure. Samantha gave ussuch great advice on our touring and our plans for our visit even though we weren’t staying long with them. So accommodating getting us where we needed to go. The river tubing right across the road was a great experience. the restaurant upstairs was lovely, and the food was terrific with enough choice. "The property was clean inside and out. We had an issue with our AC and they moved us immediately. You will definitely need a car, a driver or taxi to get to restaurants etc. "

"Great place to stay in Portsmouth! Close to the beach and food. 10ish min drive to cabrits. ~30ish min to batibou beach & red rocks. Clean room and someone came to clean everyday. Typical dishes in the kitchen but could have more (scissors), super convenient tho! A restaurant owned by hotel right at the entrance & convenient. We did not try their breakfast though. Some noise from animals can be heard in the morning. We went during their renovations starting ~9ish am but wasn’t an issue for us...

"Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)"

"1. Hotel is in the middle of nowhere - no entertainment in or nearby - everyone sleeps early here, including the owners 2. Rooms are rustic hippie designed which is nice if you are looking for attitude 3. The air conditioner in the room hidden away behind the cupboard and starts by leaking water for first five minutes 4. "STUNNING. Incredible location in terms of walking access to many beaches, and other highlights like Point Baptiste Estate Chocolate factory. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the Distillery is full of treats to enjoy and bring home for gifts. The grocery store down the street has amazing fresh juice and we enjoyed dinner at Nets of Reef multiple evenings."

"We stayed one night as it was close to the airport and we knew we’d be arriving in the dark. The hostess and her family were so lovely and welcoming. We arrived later than expected and though we had not reserved a dinner meal the hostess graciously made us some sandwiches. The breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again in a heart beat. This place is a gem."
