"We had a lovely stay at a Welbeck Apartment which was nice and spacious and allowed for some self catering. An ideal base and price for our 6 day stay on the Isle of Man.The manager was most welcoming and helpful. "

"It's a very clean hotel, the ownership is very friendly and helpful. It is not a modern cookie cutter hotel or building. It is the Victorian era. It is not fancy in modern terms. The stairs are steep and narrow, they way they were done at the time it was built. I would like more lighting on them. Breakfasts were good and satisfying. I had plenty of hot water. "

"Great location. Right on the promenade and close to the electric tram station. Walk to the other end of the promenade bracing but level. Loved the island. You can see lots by public transport. Get a GO card. Such good value. Beds soft and been well slept in. Breakfast bit disappointing- very traditional. We had a bar meal the night we arrived. Again disappointed. Steak sandwich on plain white bread - ??? We found lots of other fantastic places to eat. "
