"The breakfast service was extremely slow . They were only staff with three servers so it took about 30 minutes before some one recognized us . They did apologize. The hot food was quite cold . The gym needs some tlc , but on the whole the staff was great . I booked a deluxe room and should have received a bottle of wine upon arrival. "The view from our room was exceptional. Staff and owner Paul of New Deep Dive restaurant/bar are wonderful helpful fun people which is on site. New Deep Dive has great breakfasts, lunches and dinners with entertainment. I recommend this establishment and will be going back."

"We had to ask to change rooms, due to lock not working on front door and sliding glass door wouldn’t open properly and wouldn’t lock. Everything worked properly in the new room. We were unable to use the water sports due to the amount of seaweed on the beach. Otherwise the staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee shop was great and the food was good. The hotel is located in a pretty convenient location and it was nice and quiet."

"My room wasn’t cleaned daily, Monday my room wasn’t cleaned and the bathroom was wasn’t cleaned at all. I had sand in the tub from when I went to the beach on Saturday and there is still sand in the shower. I didn’t get any clean towels on Monday and had to call the front several time and finally received around 9 pm"

"I believe this property is 3 1/2 stars and I normally stay at 4 and 5 star resorts but this place is just quirky enough to make me curious. I'm glad I was because I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly and helpful staff, large room with sufficient amenities, food at the restaurant was very good. The views were amazing. It's right on the beach, so if you like the beach very good. "What a great location with 5 star views. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves for the 5 days we stayed. The resort could use a little updating but I’m not complaining because I loved every bit of our time there. Breakfast is amazing! I’m so sad it’s going to be turning into a club med. Such a beautiful resort."

"The Expedia property description and the property's own brochure were both totally misleading.
Having been an Expedia client for many years, I rely on the their information for making decisions about locations to consider. This time we were duped.
