"A wonderful stay. The entire hotel was recently renovated. My room was perfect. A very comfortable bed with a couch. The bathroom area is large. Well decorated, clean, and quiet. The weight room was nice. Breakfast was good- a nice selection of hot and cold foods. Very close to Clarkson. "

"We only stayed for one night. However, we were impressed by the accommodations. The room was a great size. Two Queens and a sofa bed was perfect for our family. Very spacious with two TVs. I also appreciated the extra hooks to hang clothes/jackets in the room. Extra hooks in the bathroom to hang towels for our family as well. Only minor thing was that we booked for 5 people and there were only 3 towel sets available. Not that we couldn't ask for more. Great selection of breakfast. Very clean....

"Unique property and a comfortable stay. We enjoyed an optional history tour of this former school building before settling in to our huge room. The bedding was amazingly soft, as were the towels, with excellent housekeeping each day. Breakfast was customized for our needs and was wonderful, fresh and homemade. The communal kitchen was nice for making my french press coffee early in the morning. There is a library as well as a lot of reading material in the Theodore Roosevelt room we stayed...

"We couldn’t stay as it was -8 and the heater wasn’t working. They offered a small space heater but that was not going to be enough for that cold of weather. It forecasted to get to -15 that night. They are also refusing to issue a refund."

"Upon arriving at the property the entire area was covered in snow and very unsafe to walk . I started itching while I was sleeping and woke up to my bed filled with bed bugs. Staff was called and I was relocated to another room and told the manager would contact me which never happened. I reached out to the property and finally got in touch with the manager only for him to say his apologies after I told him I’m currently home and still itching . "The property has a lot offer in summer. We went during winter. Rooms are falling apart, dirty and more. Staff wasn't friendly. There no breakfast included as advertised. During summer yes. An updated web site would have been nice. I would have stayed at another one. Price for my stay was rediculous seeing as it was regular rate for summer. Never again. We found nicer places for less after so next time will stay somewhere else that will have breakfast included no matter the season"

"The so location is beautiful. The door every keypads being programmed to the last 4 of your phone number is very convenient. I liked the heated tile floor in my bathroom and the bed was comfy. Breakfast is very basic, the shades and curtains in my room let in a lot of light and bring near the entryway meant I heard everything. Not what I expect for $200+ for a night."
