"If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly.
In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building"

"the GREATEST staff who waited after check-in was closed as my train was delayed, however rather limited check-in window, cosy room and classic building, right next to the castle and city centre, perfect choice for Tamworth"
