"We spent one night - a busy Saturday. Our room (50) was quite small accessed by an awkward triangular ante-room. There was nothing to put our suitcase on and in the bathroom no hook to hang anything on. But it was clean and quiet. Dinner and breakfast were OK though orange juice was disappointingly watery. The restaurant manager was good but junior staff were inexperienced. "

"Lovely stay, great sporting facilities, food was wonderful. Only little downside was having to pay to use the spa even though we were staying the night and had booked a treatment. The spa was also a bit too busy. Would stay again!"

"The hotel is lovely but a massive downfall in check in was my room was ready and set up as a family room after constantly asking for it to be set up and getting nowhere getting told someone’s on their way up. It should be done now. finally after refusing to leave reception without a staff member coming with me to do it there and then kids were shattered very stressful and up far beyond bedtime!"

"End July 2026. Didn't use Spa or Amenities. Pros: Overall a good stay. Restaurant/bar food medium priced, bar drinks well priced. Premium room had whirlpool bath, very nice, Good pillows & mattress. Cons: TV in room quite old, needs time updated to BST, unable to use EPG as mainly not available. New TV would be better. Knives in restaurant & bar couldn't cut butter, need replacing. Bath surround needs mildew treating."

"The property was clean and well maintained, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout our stay\. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our experience\. The air conditioning was not working for the entire three days we stayed\. When we arrived, we found fans in the room, which suggested the hotel was already aware of the issue\. The rooms were extremely hot, and we had to keep the windows open to make them bearable\. When I contacted reception to report the problem...

"We had seen not very good reviews about the hotel but were pleasantly surprised. We had 5 rooms booked family and standard, all clean. Hotel is very nice, easy to get to, good gym sauna pool facilities. Hotel is a bit worn but clean and like any other hotel. Breakfast was good. We stayed as there was a wedding function at the Hotel so can be noisy at night, but wasn't too bad. Hotel staff were very nice and helpfull. Not much near hotel to do but lots of places to order from around the...

"Old carbon monoxide alarm are a problem with alarm going off at 2am aparently this is due to 2011 old wiring its a fault staff know about and pass off lightly as oh it maybe dust. we turned off air con as a precaution not great for the price paid. Restaurant staff were lovely as was the food overall nice stay that could of been great but hotel is showing its age and is in need of refurn in places"

"1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 small bottle of water and 1 biscuit between 2 people. You cannot use the facilities on the day of checkin until after 3pm unless you pay extra. Prices have increased yet you get less for your money."

"No where to put suitcase after off loading clothes Need variety of hot drinks like herbal teas and decaf coffee Room hot though fan provided Was in room 139 and someone upstairs was very noisy during the night and I couldn’t sleep much until they settled"
