"My one and only problem, was this. We checked and given room keys (card key) with instructions on how to get to our elevator. This hotel had a North and South tower. You need your card key to enter certain areas ( security) You also need your card key for your floor on the elevator. Once we got into the room, nothing worked?? My wife called the front desk but the line was busy. Then she suggested maybe the card key operates the room. Lo and behold there was a slot at the door for the card...

"We enjoyed 4 nights at the Yotel in Glasgow. We were initially concerned about the noise from the bars/street across from us that we could here from our 3rd floor room on the east side facing Hope street. But the noise typically died down around 10pm. The room was large and comfortable, although some of the finishes (carpet) could use replacement froms stains etc. Our mini-fridge did not work- and was disappointed they story we were told by someone at the hotel was that is wasn't a fridge- just...

"Very unclean and unhygienic, outdated, a lick of paint and a hoover around wouldn't go a miss, I found half eaten nuts on the floor beside the bed, there was crumbs everywhere, even inside the bed side table drawers, the bathroom door didn't close properly, the shower and toilet face eachother and when the shower has been used it takes about 20 minutes to drain and the toilet is drenched, not a good set up there, dirt in the bed, stains on the divan, window didnt open or close easy, the blind...

"It was a clean and convenient hotel to stay while attending a conference at SEC. You are pretty close to Kelvingrove and Univ of Glasgow area, a bit of walk but pleasant. Staff was nice and friendly, there is AC and the shower drainage was good."
