"All in all great value and a really nice hotel, as I paid £212 for two rooms per night, the cooked breakfast however was not just overpriced at £21 it wasn't even very good , saying that we would return again without question"

"My one bed room without windows was very small. An open suitcase took up all the floor space. The TV was difficult to use. Turn it on then select the channels was very difficult. The TV would not turn off. The remote control would turn it on but not off. The hot water kettle worked okay. Clean towels and coffee sugar cream and tea packets are replaced every other day. The staff are very helpful. It's a 5 minute walk to the Queen Street Train Station. Rooms are very small."

"Really enjoyed our stay , room was clean and lots of towels ,beds were comfy, really good shower that had shampoo conditioner and body wash. Check out at 12 was really good to as lets you enjoy your stay :) also reception were super helpful on the phone in bedroom, had a hair dryer that wasn't working and replaced it with in 30 mins. And let us leave our bags when we checked out for free :)"

"My single bed room was small. No hot water kettle, no mini fridge. No coffee or tea packets. Coffee for sale in the lobby. The TV and AC worked okay. Check in is self service check in and it was slow and difficult using their computer. I won't stay there in the future."

"J'ai aimé mon expérience, bien situé. L'ambiance était super. Ma chambre était propre et belle. Mais les douches communes étaient un peu bancale,drôle d'odeur. J'étais la juste une journée ça ne m'a pas dérangé mais si c'était un long séjour j'aurai été deplue. Aussi ma chambre annonçait un bain et des toilettes. Non c'était des salles de bains commune et pas de bain. Peu être que ça c'est perdu dans la traduction...."

"I was delighted to be given a free upgrade to a suite on arrival. Slept very well. Room a comfortable temp and super comfy adjustable bed. Breakfast was good quality. Staff were friendly. It was quiet at night. Large tv. I thought the blinds are great. Perhaps other guest reviewers didnt figure out that there are both blackout and light filter blinds on each window. In my room at least. Shower and toilet were glass but completely private. Its all seen better days but was very clean. I just dont...

"We got a free upgrade to an executive suite which was fantastic. On the top floor so nice and quiet even though you're right in the city. A very clean and well kept property with a very big, comfortable bed. Spacious and relaxing."

"Reception staff was very welcoming and helpful. We were supposed to be charged 15 pounds for parking for one night and they said to not worry about it and didn’t charge us. Love Scotland so far!"

The only minor drawback was that the advertised swimming pool and gym are not located on-site and are approximately 4 miles away. Anyway, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel to others."

"Great stopping place for us after long drive from Yorkshire, just off the motorway but feels a million miles away overlooking surrounding fields and golf course. Parking plentiful, good bar & restaurant with quality food, nice atmosphere and service and good breakfast the following morning with various plant milks on offer, hot & cold selection. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
