"I would not recommend The Dover Inn at all. The room was disgusting. I have a video I wish I could share. Large stain on the rug. Stains on the bedspread. Walls with holes. It is hard to describe. I did not feel safe there. I should have walked out day one but stayed the night because I was exhausted. Expedia should take it off their list if they wish to maintain their reputation. The price was not cheap either"

"Recent installation of door locks, the card reader on many of the doors did not work properly at times. There is supposed to be an app you can use to open the doors, but I didn't try it to see if it works. Overall, it is a clean and decent hotel for the price."

But the shower situation seems dangerous: ice cold or burning hot. (It is an old, historical building- I get it, but…). "Well designed and maintained property. We enjoyed the little touches like the automatic nightlights and heater in bathroom. Wish we could have spent more time here but we attended the Deerfield fair. Highly recommended. "
