"The view is phenomenal, we enjoyed every minute. No cooking in the room however there is a fridge and microwave along with plates, glasses, cups, etc. Tranquility is offered here especially this time of year late April. THE STAFF DEFINITELY CARES ABOUT HOSPITALITY! "

"We got there and they could not find our reservations after some time they found it . When we booked we booked a first floor room well they told us they did not have any renovated rooms on the first floor and wanted to change our room . Why offer it if you do not have it . then you have to meet someone else so they can try to sell you a time share . After checking and a first floor room we went into the room and it was very musty you could even smell it in the curtains . There was mildew...

"This is a fabulous little hotel for families, we’ve been coming here for years and always return. Our children love the pool and splash pad, mini golf, and little playground. Colonial Williamsburg is accessible from the parking lot, it’s so fun to walk around without needing our car for the day. Convenient to Busch Gardens as well. This hotel is nostalgic and simple, we have wonderful family memories here and will choose Woodlands every time we are in Williamsburg. "

"Upon arrival I was a bit concerned because the property sits right on a main road and is surrounded by congestion. Then when we made our way to our room I was even more concerned due to the state of the hallways, which looked gross and unwelcoming. With all that said everything greatly improved when we walked into our room. The room was clean, the beds soft, and the amenities were excellent. We will definitely stay here again. I would recommend sprucing up the hallways as they do not match...

"stayed 2 days it was clean and staff was very friendly. You don't have to pay for breakfast which is always a plus when traveling with kids. Its close to everything 10 min for busch gardens and right by colonial williamsburg. didn't get to use the pool because its outdoors and wasn't that nice out but i would stay here again."

"Lodge Room quiet and sheets were clean but room worn with water stain in lamp shade. Elevator brass and woodwork needed polishing and dusting. Carpet dirty and worn. Crusty mineral build up around faucets. On the CW property but in the back 40 for lodge rooms. Food tasty in Barley Tea for dinner. Good coffee cafe in the am. Breakfast in Traditions has a decent breakfast."
