"The rooms 308 and 309 was facing the street where there was continuous construction noise and street noise which prevented all of us from getting a good night’s sleep. I would never recommend the rooms facing the street. The experience was the worst I have ever encountered in terms of noise. The bathrooms were clean but very, very small. "Firstly, the staff of the Lady Hamilton was among the best I have ever encountered. I say that as someone who has traveled throuout Europe and the United States. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros: STAFF, breakfast, location, playlist, bed comfort
Cons: small room, no air conditioning (a necessity after walking around all day), musty smell, little to no surface area to spread out and organize
The hotel is charming, yes, but our room was not especially functional if that is important to you."

"We had a great stay at Scandic Gamla Stan. Knowing we would get into Stockholm before check-in, I contacted the hotel and they said they would be able to hold our bags, so we could explore, which is so amazing! When we got there, they actually said our room was ready, so we were able to check in early!! The room was small, but perfect. Very clean hotel in a great area, quiet, historic, lovely. "I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Mälardrottningen Hotel and would gladly stay there again on a future visit to Stockholm. The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from Gamla Stan (Stockholm's Old Town), making it easy to explore one of the city's most historic and beautiful areas. While it is about a 15-minute walk from Stockholm Central Station, I found the waterfront setting to be well worth the extra distance.

"Nice historic building on a bit of a hill on a quiet street. It has a cobbled entry that is a little difficult with large luggage. The room was clean and a nice size. Room amenities and the staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast spread was quite varied and there is lots of seating inside and outside the hotel. Very close to the subway. As well, if you enjoy vintage/ secondhand shopping, it is located in the midst of the Slow Fashion District. Really enjoyed my stay here!"
