"This is a lovely luxury property which has an older feel to it. The building is circular, which we found a bit disorienting, as you have to walk in outer circles around halls, or move through spokes from the elevators in the center. The rooftop pool has amazing views, but is less conducive to couples, as most seating is singular, around the pool edges. The gym and locker room are on the 6th floor, a long way from the pool. "The best hotel to stay in if you are visiting Taroko Gorge.
The gorge can be difficult to access given the current timed road closures, so long as you plan ahead, you shouldn’t have issues.
