"It is definitely not a hotel facility. Toilet was broken(someone already used the toilet but it was broken so you guess what happened), shower was completely broken, no mosquito net, and no toiletries. No internet, didn't get breakfast. They charged $20USD for oneway pick up service which is more than their room charge. And when i complained to manager he was yelling at me for me to complaining so much. I can't believe you guys booked me this hotel. It was most horrible nightmare hotel ever...

"The hotel staff at the front desk are rude and lack customer service skills. If you leave anything behind at this hotel and call to ask about it, you're wasting your time because you will not get a phone call back. I use to like this hotel as I have stayed here many of times. I would recommend going elsewhere if you don't want to deal with attitudes from staff "

"I was just coming off a tour and had an extra night to spend in Arusha. Rather than spend the night in the tour hotel I decided to try Mc-Elly's for about 4x LESS the price. The area in the daytime is a bit chaotic (industrial area) but it's the real Africa not what I saw in the tour hotel. As soon as the sun goes down it was very quiet. Loved sitting out on my balcony. Breakfast was great, lots of variety and the manager of the hotel even greeted me asking me how I found everything. Nice...
