"This was our second time staying at Beyt al Salaam. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From start to finish, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. People went out of their way to help us. The room was kept clean and serviced. There is a restaurant that serves delicious food. The hotel is conveniently located in a lovely part of Stonetown and near to the beach. What made this stay so wonderful was the staff at the hotel who are simply brilliant. Thank you!"

"great services like I got during my stay. The check in was while sitting in a living room, they explain me all of the option for a day tour, the took care of my laundry after treking the Kilimanjaro. The lodge looks is wonderful, all is green beautifully plants, the room is wide, clean cacfully and really nice, the food is diverse and delicious. "I paid circa $50 for one night here on a work trip. For that price I think it was a complete bargain. Location is great, no night clubs / chickens crowing next door so quiet. I didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on food (so many choices within a 5-10 min walk). This is not a luxury hotel like a Hyatt or Serena. Instead it’s bursting with Stone Town character, amazing location, nice bed and bathroom with lovely staff. Will stay again and willing to pay a little more. "
