"The kitchenette rooms are lovely and spacious with good facilities. Beds are huge and super comfy, TV was massive! Room was clean and quiet. Staff both at reception and at the breakfast were very friendly and made you feel at ease. Breakfast was especially good with lots of nice options, you don’t feel rushed to get in and out so you can really take your time in there. A lovely stay."

"Check in was easy. Our bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The evening meal in the restaurant was poor. There was no ice for our drinks from the bar beforehand. My husband’s meal of fish goujons and chips was undercooked. At breakfast the mixed fruit berries hadn’t fully defrosted, the sausages had been undercooked and the fruit juices were awful. "Positives - location perfect for exploring Exeter and The Quay. Bathroom was nice and more recently refurbished. Carpark was straightforward but you pay. Bar man very helpful, went out of his way to find some peppermint tea, very grateful. Staff were friendly but no one explained about the £10 pp charge to swim… we were simply told we could use the leisure facilities while we stayed. It was cheap but a poor choice - no sleep, bedroom and communal areas tired. Bed had no mattress protector,...

"Fantastic stay at the Telstar. Staff were so friendly when I arrived, showing me to my room. It was very clean, comfy and practical! Free parking is an absolute gem in Exeter, so was very grateful for that. I'll definitely stay again when I'm next down."
