Otherwise… No crash bar on the door, which is only really a problem because you could pass a cellphone in the gap between the door and frame. In addition to the safety concern, all the light and noise from the hall came straight into our small room. Basic room, absolutely zero frills. You get a bed, bath and TV. Don’t plan to make coffee in your room as there isn’t a coffee pot. No dresser. TP and tissues were awarded to...

"It is an old, charming inn with winding stairs and hallways. The room was very nice sized, the bed comfortable, had good light, and a modernized attached bath. Do not compare it to a modern luxury hotel. The breakfast was great and the restaurant had great food for dinner. Location perfect-right across from the lake and easy walk into town. All the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Loved it!"

"Hotel was going through renovations. 1st room heat a/c unit didn't work. TV had no signal. Was told hotel was booked at check in. Choice given to staff was a different room or immediate refund to go elsewhere. Professional handling of situation was resigned to a different bed. Lost king size bed to 2 double beds however, bed was very comfortable. Again the staff was exceptional 👏"

"The floors turned the towels black when cleaning up water from them. Dust was thick on the lamps. The rooms fire sprinkler was coated in what looked like hair and dust wrapped around it. The mini fridge didn’t look like it had been wiped out. And the grout along the outside of the tub was separated from the floor and gross. We will not be staying there again"
