"I do not recommend this hotel. They silently overcharge customers on different process fees. If we did not check, we were overcharged. The staff was not helpful to customer’s special needs and manager was not reachable. The sheet and pillows cover are dirty. Make customers uncomfortable to stay in this hotel. However this hotel got geographic advantage. If you booked and did not stay. You cannot find anther hotel or lodge easily nearby. I recommend Nearby Comfort Inn. Not this one."

"I was not satisfied with the service. To begin with, the staff members appeared to be in a bad mood, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness was also disappointing; the room was not properly cleaned. It seemed as though they simply straightened things up without actually cleaning, and I believe the towels were only folded rather than replaced.The food was also below expectations. Additionally, although the hotel states that noise is not allowed, the guests in the room next door...

"We were told that there maybe ants after we checked in. There were. Air-conditioning was not useful the room was very hot. I love giving mom and pop establishments a chance. This one needs a little work. It was a place to stay and we had a bed. Thats all I can say!"

"Although the room was nice, the AC did not work and when the front desk was notified at 2 am, they had no resolution. Had to suffer and sweat all night! In the morning the front desk offered to send technician. Technician couldn’t fix anything because the rooms on the first floor just don’t cool well. Ended up checking out and requested refund for the one night stay."

"Perfect location on the Kaweah River, rapids surging right below the restaurant/deck. Small, independent run hotel from a bygone era...a little long in the tooth but a very pleasant stay. Great staff, great bar, restaurant really does well and the food is excellent. Prices for rooms and the restaurant are pretty high, but understandably given the limited season. Would I ever stay there again? YES...I really enjoyed the place, the food, and the staff."

"Do not stay here unless you want your privacy violated. My daughter and I went out to eat while my husband stayed behind to nap. He was startled when a groundskeeper entered our room without knocking or identifying himself, then just laughed and said "oh sorry" when he saw my husband. He likely assumed we were not there because our car was gone. This was very unsettling and felt like a serious invasion of privacy. We were traveling with our teenage daughter, and it raised real concerns—what if...

"Staff member at front desk said she couldn’t locate the reservation. Ended up leaving the property. The stay was supposed to be a small gift I gave my daughter and her new husband. They were not able to get checked in. I called the property and I told the young man, I PAID for the stay how could they NOT find the reservation?? He WAS able locate the reservation. Too late at that point, they had left. I’m expecting a full refund"
