"This was our 2nd stay here. You wake up to the most beautiful view. It’s probably not great for anyone with serious mobility issues though as the cabins and lodge are quite spread out and most up hills. The area is so beautiful though and it’s convenient to stay close to General Sherman. Just keep in mind it’s rustic and on the older side. Would stay here next time definitely "

"AC wasn’t working for first night and it’s really loud when it does work but staff was quick to come up with solution which was to bring in a standing heater since it was pretty cold at night "

"We had a great one-night stay at The Darling. Both the hotel and our specific room were immaculate. It felt luxurious just to chill on premises and the rainfall shower was a 10/10. We enjoyed the heated pool and had dinner at the rooftop restaurant Elderwood. We interacted with staff a few times and always got quick and helpful responses. "The room as okay. There was dust on lampshades, floor in bathroom sticky. The clock on nightstand the time never changed to correct time. I think the supervisor for housekeeping needs to follow up after room clean. The breakfast was okay. The bacon as uncooked thoroughly i brought it to staff attention came back for it 15 mins later. "My wife and I had the greatest time together in the most beautiful and serene location off the beaten path in three rivers. The owner was friendly and courteous, his service was above and beyond all expectations. We had very good WiFi service and were able to use our phones to call and text. Three Rivers and Paradise Ranch is our new spot to vacation together. Try the dinner with recipe from the commissary, better and cheaper than a nice restaurant. Thank you Kenneth. "
