"The hotel is a decent value for the area being reasonably priced. The pool is open late which was a bonus. The rooms are dated but clean. There’s no free continental breakfast, they have an on site restaurant that you can buy breakfast or dinner from. We opted not to eat at the hotel. They have no connecting rooms which was disappointing for us, but they did make them adjoining. All in all the hotel was ok and served its purpose."

"Avoid this hotel at all costs!! We reserved two rooms for two nights. BOTH ROOMS were filthy. There was pubic hairs on the one bed. Some other kinda hair on the others. I called and asked for beds to be CHANGED. They came in and brushed the hairs off, turned over the pillows and moved on to the other room. We had six kids. It’s sad when none wanted to stay there. The bathtub was dirty. Elevator said it was on floor 82? There isn’t 82 floors. The stairs were scary and dark with emergency tags hanging. I ended up having to check right back out. No way was I sleeping where I wasn’t sure if bed sheets were clean and staff didn’t even care. BEWARE!!!! It’s beyond filthy!!!"

"Nice hotel for the price. Many things we like included ample free parking, great central location, indoor pool & a free breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean. A couple of things to note if you're a little bougie like I am- the bathroom vanity is one sink with one tiny strip of mirror so only one person could use the bathroom at a time. No husband shaving while you're trying to do your makeup. They only clean your room every other day unless u request cleaning. No biggie there but FYI. I like fresh towels. Here's the three reasons why I wouldn't stay here again- the sheets & especially the bedding were scratchy and cheap (but clean!) so that was okay, the pillows were very flat and hurts your neck if u have any neck issues (I didn't ask for different pillows- so maybe they have something else), and lastly the AC. The AC cooled great while it was running bringing the room to temp but once it hit temp it got really hot in the room. We had to keep turning the air down further so it wouldn't get hot. This made sleeping kind of weird cuz we kept waking up hot. Once again- not big deals if u don't care about these things. Breakfast buffet was decent for free. Had a waffle station, bagels, cereal and the hot portion when we were there were little western omelets and chicken sausage. Plus, my favorite thing is Hampton Suites always have the free coffee available all day! And it's decent coffee."

"Everything was wonderful except for the fact that hotel.com says that there is a Keurig in every room. There is not. The hotel has told me that in January IHG the mother company told them they had to take all of the keurigs out of the rooms. Holiday Inn needs to update their description on Hotels.com. Also it says that there is a saltwater pool and there is not. I chose this particular hotel simply because the fact that there was a keurig coffee pot in the room. I had small children with me and I did not want to leave them to go get coffee when I woke up in the morning. And so instead of staying two minutes from our destination I chose to stay 20 minutes from our destination because of that. The hotel staff did pull a Keurig out of storage that was brand new in a box and gave it to me for my room because I told them why I chose their hotel. That was very kind of them. And it is not the hotel's fault that Holiday Inn has not updated their information. But if you are choosing this hotel for an amenity that is listed then you need to call them before you book to see if it's actually there. The staff was wonderful. The hotel was very clean but I cannot give them a five star because the description is wrong."

"It was a nice place overall, we booked a king size room but when they gave me they keys they didn't work. They then put me in a double queen room which honestly was probably better for the fact they only give you 3 pillows per bed even the kings so my wife and I actually got 3 a piece so that was nice. I loved the fact the rooms all have a old screen door and a bench outside of the room. The bathroom definitely could have used some improvements, my shower didn't have a shower rod it was in pieces in the window sill and the tile was all cracked up along the wall. The shower was hard to get hot water just right so it was either hot or luke warm water. It could have been cleaned better as well my wife went to open the "new soap" with her teeth and an old used bar fell out the other side. The room had a window unit AC so it was hard to keep the room a specific temperature. It was an overall pleasant experience given the issue we faced and my wife said she would definitely like to stay again."

"This is a resort where big tour buses bring large groups of people. A lot of young people to senior citizens are accommodated. They have more than the advertised continental breakfast. They have a large pool. It is in walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg. Our room was large and comfortable. It was quiet and secure. Parking was a little challenging in the evenings if you have walking issues but there was plenty. I would stay there again."
