"Modern hotel in a good location with friendly helpful staff. Even though we booked a Felix king room it was smaller than the room we stayed in previously and was tight for a long stay. The building has aged since our last visit 4 years ago."

"Great convenient location close to airport. $25 taxi ride to downtown. Must have been recently renovated, everything feels new, clean and well thought out. Nice bathroom, excellent queen size bed with 2 nighttables and good lighting. 3 decent chairs in the room. Coffee machine and fridge. Nice view of the airport and mountains. The balcony is a nice bonus too."

This is understandable, but should be openly disclosed in any description of the property before booking so guests can be prepared to bring house shoes. "The property is very long in the tooth. It is in desperate need of a face lift. We stayed 2 nights (prepaid) on each end of a tour we were taking out of Whitehorse. The first room (double) was surprisingly quite nice, nice bed linens and very comfortable beds. The bath room was less than desirable. Neither my husband nor I took showers. Had our room not been prepaid for our return stay I would have cancelled our reservation. The second room had one bed (our choice) but the room was musty...

"We liked everything about our room and the hotel. To start with, we asked if we could check in early (2hrs) which they were easily able and willing to accommodate. The room was lovely, everything modern and up to date. The nespresso coffee maker was wonderful. The tv had all sorts of channels, the bed was comfy. We went to hot springs so didn't use bathroom stuff too much. Hubbie said shower was great. Every member of staff was eager to please friendly and helpful. For amenities I would say...
