We did have to walk a small ways to town - it didn't have a view of the lake or anything like that - but the benefits of having free parking, the pool, and the basement game room were worth the further location for my kids entertainment. "This property feels more like a youth hostel than a proper hotel. The house is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet offers a nice variety of Taiwanese dishes. However, arriving by public transport means a steep uphill hike. Rooms are bare-bones: just a floor mattress as a bed, a single ceiling light, a low shelf and a basic shower stall. It's significantly overpriced for what it offers."
