Breakfast as part of the reservation was ample with many choices taken at the restaurant next door. Despite the unusual hot weather I walked to the Guggenheim Museum and around the Old Town."

"This is a huge shout out to Patricia on the front desk without whom our experience would have been very different and not enjoyable. And a shout out to the cleaning staff who do a wonderful job. The difference in rooms is huge; standard rooms are small and light deprived with no view other than concrete. If you can, book the rooms at the front with a view of the river. Breakfast is difficult for vegetarians and after a while becomes repetitive. Despite being a 4-star, amenities are limited....

"Ok - so the location is the only thing going for this hotel. Other than that - nothing. It’s pretty rundown, halls smell, hair in the corners of the room, bed is so small, pillows aren’t comfortable & flat but the AC is great! There’s no mini-fridge, no snacks, no microwave, no washcloths, no washcloths. There are NO amenities. I had arranged beforehand for extra pillows for my brother because of a cancer/surgery issue & he can’t lay down flat or could suffocate… the young girl at the desk said...

"Das Hotel ist in einer top Lage und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Allerdings ist es nicht besonders gut, dass man beim ein- bzw. ausgehen immer wieder eine kleine Treppe runter/rauf muss. Das Zimmer war auch nichts besonders, aber OK (Matratze sehr bequem, Badetücher ausgezeichnet!), jedoch die Trennung zwischen Bad- und Schlafbereich durch einen einfachen Vorhang (statt eine Wand oder wenigstens eine schiebbare Platte) fanden wir nicht gut. Uns hat auch nicht gefallen, dass das Fenster...

"We had a lovely overnight stay here. The room was spacious and clean. It had everything you would want for a comfortable stay. We were surprised to find tea/coffee/kettle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Carpark instructions were easy to follow but to get to the hotel from the carpark, walk down the road to your left rather than straight ahead."

"Good location , somewhat hard to find and reception is not at the hotel ( pension) - however the staff was very helpful and went out of his way to help me retrieve items left behind after I had checked out"
