"I have to say that the staff were super friendly and very welcoming, not only the bar staff but also the breakfast chef and even the cleaner! The inn was situated in a nice out of town area surrounded by fields. There is a business nextdoor but there was no overnight noise from it. The food and the beer were amazing too. "This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay."

"Beautiful location and view from our little balcony over the first Tee and 18th hole. Took my partner for his 50th and we had a lovely couple of days, the beers cold and the food was lovely. Had a round of golf which was challenging as very hilly and mostly blind holes. Great few hours out on the stunning course in sunshine though. "Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !"
