"Great stay overall. There was plenty to do around Rochester, making it a great location. The only downside was that our room was close to the train station, so it could be a little noisy at times. However, the receptionist was attentive, friendly, and polite, which made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again."

Cons: room needed more detailed cleaning, shower head was stuck in holder and hard to adjust, skimpy tea & coffee in room & no decaf coffee, TV subject to atmospheric interference and channel hopping a challenge (maybe new batteries in hand set...

"Amazing little place. We actually live in Ryarsh and now live abroad and wanted somewhere local. This place was a gem. Staff were amazing, accommodation, and food was fab as well (breakfast included). Accommodation was very nice, we could easily have stayed here for a few nights. Thanks for a short sweet stay! "This is a greta hotel and pub within the historic Chatham dockyard with local outlet shops within 5 mins walking distance, room was clean with some nice touches, staff are friendly and a good breakfast."

"We would have rated the Castle excellent if we had slept better, but having a room on the busy main road made that difficult…we could imagine that another back room was much quieter. But the atmosphere was nice and both dinner and breakfast freshly cooked and well-presented were all enjoyable."
