"The location was ok, but the overall appearance of the motel isn't great. The check-in process took a bit longer as it appeared there was language training going on. The room itself was recently renovated, but the fridge looks like it was salvaged from somewhere. The tub filler never shuts off when getting a shower, and the water doesn't not drain well, so the water quickly fills up to your calves. Only having breakfast until 9 is early. There's no ventilation in the bathroom and having the air...

"Everything in the room was very dated and tired, there was a layer of dust over everything including the sofa. The sliding door did not lock. The bed was uncomfortable. There was an unpleasant smell like cat urine on entering the property. It was completely over priced. There was a notice on the property saying that the restaurant was closed and an alternate number to call to check in. We ended up leaving and not staying the night despite not being able to get a refund."

"Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit."
